Windy Migger

Out with the italics, because it's Dan reporting on his windy watchpoint:

1200-1700 vis comprised

1+3+5 sand martins and 1 swallow, all battling NW.

All starlings noted (c400 in small parties) were Eastbound. Migrating flocks?

To summarise? Nowt about!

Birding at Aldcliffe

Please be aware that some of the specific site names are not necessarily 'real' names and may have been coined by local patch birders, however some (such as Frog Pond and Pony Wood) are historically established.

IMPORTANT:
We ask that visiting birders keep to all public rights of way.
Aldcliffe Marsh is owned and managed by Morecambe Bay Wildfowlers Association and is strictly private. A public footpath runs along the length of the marsh along Dawson's Bank from the parking area north to Marsh Point.
Only view the Wildfowlers' Pools from the cycle track or from Dawson's Bank. Please do not enter the field.

All the main birding hotspots are viewable from public pathways.
